Washed River Sand is a course washed sand that is dredged locally from the Nepean River and then thoroughly washed. It is an ideal base for paving as it compacts to form a sturdy yet flexible base. Washed River Sand also drastically reduces efflorescence in pavers (salt leaching through the pavers), due to the intense washing process.

Washed River Sand also has many other applications such as being blended with Blue Metal and Cement to make concrete. It can also be mixed with Garden Soils to promote drainage and assist in the propagation of plants.

Washed River Sand is available in 30kg bags and by the tonne.
