So much so that we ditched the traditional name of Couch and replaced it with the alternative name Bermuda, as the negative reputation garnered by the high maintenance “Couch” doesn’t fit the standards maintained by our TifTuf Bermuda Turf.
As the name implies, TifTuf truly is Australia’s toughest Bermuda Grass (“Couch” if you really must!) But don’t just take our word for it, in March 2020 Smart WaterMark Australia gave TifTuf the honours of being Australia’s first Smart Approved WaterMark turf, labeling it as “The best drought tolerant grass we have ever seen in Australia.” – Smart WaterMark.
These exceptional properties have led to TifTuf quickly becoming Australia’s favourite fine leaf grass, being used in extensive local projects from “Bowling Green” front yards, to the Campbelltown Stadium Refurbishment.
