10mm Pine Bark is a clean natural product that is shredded from the bark of Pine Trees and graded to an approximate size of 10-15mm.

Our 10mm Pine Bark is a premium bark that stands out from the rest due to its lack of ‘White Wood’ content. It is a deep rich brown colour that is extremely attractive in all types of gardens.

10mm Pine Bark is soft and round making it is easy and safe to work with. It keeps soils moist and fertile, provides nutrients to your plants and is the ideal mulch for suppressing weeds.

This bark is also popular in orchid mixes etc. as it provides good drainage when mixed throughout soils.

APPLICATION

The recommended depth for applying 10mm Pine Bark ranges from between 50 and 100mm, depending on your main intended use.

For purely decorative purposes it is recommended to use 50mm of 10mm Pine Bark across the entire garden.

The minimum depth recommended for weed control and water retention is 75mm of 10mm Pine Bark across the entire garden.

The optimal depth for weed control and water retention is 100mm of 10mm Pine Bark across the entire garden, however it is not recommended that you exceed this depth as excessive mulching can suffocate the soil.
